This course has been designed for anybody who is thinkig of switching to Xero or has limited experience with Xero. The Xero Starter is designed to give you a solid foundation with Xero – this course won’t overload you with too much detail, and we'll even explain the IT/accounting-speak!

This is a four hour hands-on training session.

A guide to the topics covered:

• Basic Xero concepts - understanding web based accounting systems
• The Xero dashboard - setting up your dashboard
• Accounts basics - accounts receivable/payable, spend/receive money
• Bank accounts - importing transactions, reconciliation, setting up bank feeds etc.
• Reports - the report centre, favourites, GST, Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss
• Contacts - setting up your customer files, managing/viewing contacts
• Finding Help - how to get help with Xero
• Q&A - general Xero queries

Our Accelerator course is for anyone who is confidently using Xero and feels ready to step up to the next level. We will cover the detail of Xero and work through the many extended functions and features.

This is a two hour interactive training session.

• Reports – publishing, customising useful reports you need to run your business
• Contacts – merging, importing, grouping and correcting
• Price list – setting your price list in Xero
• Chart of accounts – adding/changing information
